WELCOME TO THE ROSAVELLE RACING ASSOCIATION!
What is that? Why only Rosavelle's very own homegrown horse racing/concert series put together by everyone's favoriteevil intimidating horse resident umamusume, Gold Ship. Having spent several weeks working with the castle horses she's decided to give the horses some fun, the people of Rosavelle an event, Callie the opportunity to learn about HOT BLOODED ROMANTIC RIVALRY that can only be achieved through SPORTING EVENTS, and advisors the chance to let out their emotions and passion on the race track or the stage! Races are held twice a month and will be decided entirely by RNG. The RRA is at its core ALL ABOUT THE SPIRIT OF COMPETITION AND SHOWMANSHIP, so there are no real stakes involved here. No prize purse, no being disqualified for entry to future races because a team didn't place. The reward for winning besides the honor to be front and center for the Winning Concert will be a next day feast hosted at the castle, where the top three will find themselves seated centrally with Princess Calanthe Rosabella Petalia de Amoré as their honored guests for the event.
Don't worry about details like too many entries in a race or not enough entries or anything like that. The entire point of these events is to be Fun! Further rambling details can be found in this post on the quest board complete with powerpoint presentation.
Races for the Rosavelle Racing Association will run twice a month. The results of the races will be decided by RNG with the events around it free to be played out in threads amongst participants and spectators. The results of each race will be listed in its corresponding log! Below is our current list of active racing teams. Please take the time to add your team to the list we have here. In the comments below please feel free to describe your team's horse in as much or as little detail as you like!
Following each race will be the Winning Concert, an event which will open with the riders (or their Champion of Song) performing Make Debut and closing the night with a specific song for each race. Between opening and closing is an open spot for ANY BANDS OR SOLO ACTS to perform. On each race log there will be a comment section for the group to put down their set list as well as play out any notable moments of the performance with other players, as well as for the audience to react. Is someone singing a love ballad and making eye contact with their crush? Did somebody fling their bra up on stage? Did you take a moment to call out your Love Rival in front of everyone for a duel? Go Nuts, that's what it's for. Below is a list of current bands and their members.
